Cheap Pushchairs

There are a number of aspects to consider when choosing the ideal pushchair makes. What suits your outdoor lifestyle may not be suitable for urban living. A pushchair that glides over shiny floors could struggle on the muddy terrain.

If you’re planning to have another child then a travel system that can be converted into a twin pushchair could be ideal. These are designed to expand with your bambino and are typically used from birth until six months.

iCandy Peach

This is a favourite of famous moms, and it provides a lot of functions at a fair cost. The spacious carrycot is suitable for babies from birth. Innovative adaptors are able to convert it into a twin pushchair. The modern, premium knitted jersey fabrics are sturdy and soft, with a refined feel. A large, extendable canopy as well as multi-position recline seats provide babies with the best comfort. A handy pocket with a zip can store the essentials. Elevators elevate the seat to create a portable highchair to facilitate interaction and enable parents to roll up and dine in restaurants. It comes with a stylish changing bag and footmuff for an entire travel system.

The chassis made of aluminium in the Peach 7 is lighter than other pushchairs and its polyurethane tyres are able to handle any terrain, from bumpy roads and sports fields to parkland and forest trails that are muddy. The suspension has been made softer to provide comfort, both for the baby and the parent facing pushchair. The front wheels can be rotated to make it easier to turn corners even with one hand. The small footprint and the tight turning circle means it can easily maneuver narrow hallways and shop aisles and is therefore perfect for urban living.

This model is available in a range of colours and styles, including iCandy Black Special Edition. The fabric and chassis are black to give an all-black appearance. It has a cup holder on board and is compatible to the iCandy Cuddler and the Sidekick Stroller. It is available directly from iCandy directly for $1,149 or through third-party retailers, such as Babythingz.

Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 is a simple, no-nonsense pram that offers ease of use and convenience in a lightweight and elegant shell. It’s a great choice if you live in the city and frequently take the tube, want to fold up your pushchair and put it in your trunk while driving, or want a light pram to take on a day out with just you and baby. It’s also green.

The YOYO 2 model, which retails at PS399, includes the chassis as well as the 6+ color pack. Add the baby bassinet (sold separately), and you will be spending around PS800 for a complete travel set-up. This is similar to other “urban pushchairs” such as the Bugaboo Bee 6.

YOYO 2 folds down to 52 44×18 or 20 x 17,3 x 7.1 in. It can be incorporated into the baggage allowances for cabin baggage that are set by the majority of airlines and is one of the few double strollers that can be used at birth with the addition of a newborn bassinet or the 0+ or Newborn fabric pack.

It has small wheels that are ideal for grass and pavements but it is able to take on bumpier terrain. However, adventurous families might want to consider something with all-terrain tires. It also has a neat trick that the handle bar can be tucked away, so you can move your YOYO 2 to a table in a restaurant, and then sit down.

The YOYO 2 is simple to move around, and has one of the lowest turning ratios in stroller land. It does require two people to fold and unfold. It cannot be pulled by its wheels when folded, similar to other umbrella pushchairs.

My Babiie

If you’re looking for a complete travel system, the My Babiie is the perfect choice. It is designed to be used from birth and comes with the car seat, carrycot and a pushchair seat all in one. This car seat is an excellent choice for newborns or toddlers due to its wide base and i-Size compatibility. Plus, the seat is fully reclineable, which will allow your toddler or baby to sleep in the car. It has a large adjustable hood that shields them from the sun.

The My Babiie MB250 is easy to fold and can be used with a seat, carrycot or carrier attached. It has a simple one-handed fold and is lightweight, making it easy to move around. It is also small and fits into most small vehicles. It comes with several accessories, including a changing pouch, a rain cover and an ice holder for coffee.

My Babiie is known for its stylish products, which were created in collaboration with celebrities mums. Christina Milian was involved in the design of the Belgravia Black and Rose Gold Travel System. Even if celebrity alliances aren’t for you, this is an all-rounder that has plenty of features to keep your family happy.

This My Babiie MB500 iSize Spin car seat has been tested according to the highest standards. It’s suitable for babies from birth to around 4 years old. It can be fitted to the chassis using the use of ISOFIX connectors. It is also compatible with the My Babiie Explorer MB52, which comes in three fashionable fabrics, comes with a seat that can be folded flat, a newborn insert, and a large hood. If you’re ready for your child from the car seat to the stroller, the seat simply connects to the chassis by pressing two buttons to either side.

Bugaboo Bee

The Bugaboo Bee is a stylish functional, comfortable, and affordable pushchair. It’s been around since 2007 and has recently undergone revamping with the launch of the Bee 6. The most notable differences between the earlier models are the adjustable backrest height, the larger sun canopy and the circular joint system that makes it easier to move your seat away or towards from you.

The Bee 6 is also a much narrower vehicle which makes it ideal for getting on public transport or for navigating those city streets that are difficult to navigate. Its iconic yellow color will also make it easier for people to spot you when walking around and for Deliveroo’s cyclists to see you while they whiz down your street.

It’s also a joy to drive, with responsive steering. The suspension is smooth and nice. I also liked the large and deep basket which is perfect for grocery trips and it is easily accessed regardless of whether the seat is facing you or away.

The Bee’s durability and strength is another thing that impressed me. The handle bar is easy to hold and the pushchair just oozes quality. It’s evident that this buggy has been designed to last for generations.

Of course it’s not cheap. The Bee costs PS1000 at full price, but it’s much cheaper than other strollers of the highest quality. With its capabilities and build quality, I think it’s definitely worth the price. Particularly for those more concerned about fashion than they are with functionality.

Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2 Double

The Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2 Double is a jogger with stadium-style seating for two kids. It is compatible with a variety of brands and fits one car seat. It is more expensive than the other strollers listed, but it does receive a high score for quality and has a large storage basket. It also comes with a bumper bar that can be used to store toys or create a relaxing spot for kids.

The stroller is sleek and simple to push. The three wheels are massive and have air-filled tires that make jogging and navigating rough terrain a breeze. It’s also extremely light and features a great ergonomic handlebar as well as a foot brake and a hand brake that can be pushed or squeezed. The only drawbacks are that the seats can’t recline and the canopy doesn’t completely cover them.

This stroller can also be converted into a lightweight infant pram by adding an optional bassinet. It also has a massive shopping basket that is perfect for picking up groceries on your way home. It is extremely sturdy and can be used from the beginning as an jogging walker.

It’s a bit big and heavy to pass through narrow doors or into the car boot of a small size It is best suited to families with a large garage or driveway and who don’t mind carrying it around. The price may also be a hindrance for some. It is not compatible with infant car seats and you’ll have to buy a bassinet on its own for the first 8 months.
